The Fight

Choosing to join the fight, the friends bravely stood their ground. Marija, fought alongside the men, as women did in the past, while sporty Pawlu swung his sword at the Ottoman Turks. Isaac used his wits to beat the enemy. But the fierce Turkish Janissary soldiers, determined to take Malta for their Sultan started to overpower them. Realising this, the Grand Master pointed to a hidden gate in the bastion wall, yelling: "Save yourselves, run to the tunnels!" The friends, hearts pounding, dashed into the darkness of the tunnels, their adventure taking a new turn.
