Emerging from the dark old Inquisitor’s Palace, Marija, Pawlu, and Isaac blinked in the bright light of the modern day. They found themselves back in today’s Birgu, no more knights or inquisitors. The adventure had taken them through the history, teaching them about the bravery, wisdom, and resilience of their people.
As they walked through the streets, they passed by the very bastion where their journey had begun now named “Il-Brexxja” – the breach or hole in the bastion. It was now just a peaceful part of the town, but to them, it was a symbol of their incredible adventure – a journey through time that had revealed the rich tapestry of Malta's history.
The children knew they had a responsibility to share these stories, to keep the spirit of Malta's past alive. With a newfound pride in their heritage, they made a pact to tell others of their adventure, ensuring that the lessons they learned would continue to inspire and educate, just as the Knights' legacy had inspired them.
